Matt Volland
Director Matt Vollands journey into scaffolding started on site at just 16 years old. Those formative years laid the foundation for the values he still carries today: hard work, reliability, and pride in doing the job properly.
Throughout his 20s and early 30s, he balanced life on site with life on the pitch, pursuing a professional rugby career with both Northampton Saints and Bedford Blues.
Rugby taught him the importance of trust, communication, and consistency under pressure, while scaffolding grounded him in practical skill and accountability. That combination is at the heart of how he runs Volland Scaffolding Services today.
Matt is passionate about delivering a high-quality service that clients can depend on, not just in terms of safety and efficiency, but also in building lasting relationships for the future
